MARKETING, SOCIAL MEDIA & EVENTS MANAGER

Uprise is more than a fitness studio; it’s a space where movement, music, and community come together to help people feel unstoppable. We create high-energy experiences that leave our members inspired, connected, and ready to take on the world.

Our Marketing, Social Media & Events Manager will play a critical role in bringing Uprise’s story to life, building our community, and designing experiences that our members can’t stop talking about. This is a creative, hands-on role for someone who thrives on making big ideas happen and loves working in a fast-moving, high-energy environment.

Reports to: Studio Leadership

Employment Status: Part-Time (~10 hours/week) + 20% commission on profits from retreats & events

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and execute marketing campaigns that elevate the Uprise brand and grow our community

  • Manage Uprise’s social media presence with engaging content that reflects our bold, energetic voice

  • Work with studio leadership to plan, coordinate, and execute events, retreats, and workshops from concept to completion

  • Identify and pursue PR opportunities, including awards, press features, and local partnerships

  • Collaborate with studio leadership to brainstorm creative ways to engage and delight members

  • Track metrics and measure success to continually optimize strategies

  • Create impactful social media strategies and create content with some light photo & video editing

Qualifications:

  • Experience in marketing, social media, events, or PR

  • Strong verbal + visual communication skills

  • Highly creative, organized, and detail-oriented

  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

  • Passionate about fitness, wellness, and community-building

  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and proactive problem-solver

  • Photo + video editing experience preferred

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to work consistently, including flexible hours for events and social media posting

  • Comfortable attending and supporting events on evenings or weekends

  • Experience with social media platforms and basic graphic design
