Uprise LIFTED is a new 50-minute lifting class that utilizes partners/spotting to build community and help students build muscle strength and capacity by utilizing progressive load and time under tension. Body Pump group fitness rack + weight sets, along with steps, are used to help students find personal maximums for each exercise. This class can be less intimidating to teach because it is not beat-based - however, it requires confidence in teaching correct form and motivational coaching.
